The instrument is in near-perfect shape. I bought it new less than a year ago, directly from Abe Wechter's shop. It was prefoessionally setup by Tim Scheerhorn.

I have only played it a few times. It is a great instrument, but I need to trade it in for an electic lap steel Much to my chagrin, that gorgeous acoustic resonator sound doesn't fit with the band I play in, and I can't afford to have both.

I only had heavy gauge wire, so this thing might be a little delicate on the outside, but it's pretty tough on the inside.
