Hey all - finally a banjo you don't have to make fun of! This song is from my upcoming release with Chris Coole from Toronto. I'm playing clawhammer on my new Rayco "ResNik" resophonic banjo (with a full dobro-style cone/spider assembly nicely worked into a banjo-shaped body), Chris is on guitar, and that's John Reischman on mandolin....

The album is called "Farewell Trion" and has mostly me on Dobro (and banjo on 3 songs) with Chris on vocals and clawhammer banjo or sometimes guitar - so it's primarily a clawhammer - dobro duet album (one of my favorite unlikely combos). I'll post one of the banjo/dobro numbers in a bit....

Hi all - I'm loading up the first few songs from my new CD with singer/songwriter/guitarist Aaron Parrett. All original songs by Aaron with just guitar and dobro for instruments (my 2009 mahogany Clinesmith's recorded debut!).

This song also has my first attempt at D Tuning...  it's a bit experimental here and there....
