Walnut

Here are a couple of pictures of the guitar I am building. This is my second from scratch, third counting a kit from Beard. The wood is walnut that I got from a local guy here in Northern CA.  Thanks to Phil, Todd and Kent for advice and encouragement. Brian

This is a new guitar that Gregg Mckenna made me in June 2009. It is custom made with Oregon Claro Walnut. Beautiful Guitar with a great sound.

Received this solid walnut D body from Dick DeNeve today, thought I would share a few images:

Dick built this one with an arch back and put one of his brass roller nuts on. Nice Gotoh tuners and Schaller strap lock. Just changed the strings and the guitar needs to settle in after shipping, but first impressions are it's a keeper for sure. Dick even shipped the guitar in a very nice arch top/arch back HSC.
