IBMA

Would like to say hey to all the folks I met out at IBMA, and old friends i got to see again. I had an absolute blast this year. I didnt get to sit around and play all the resos like i usually do, as that i was working so hard to push the HillBenders name. which, btw, if all goes like i think it might you may be hearing A LOT more of soon.

i did get the chance to swing by Bettys Dobro party. had a great time there, as always. Randy K rolled in twards the end and played a version of Dobro Chimes that pretty much melted my face. course about everything he does melts my face.

Congratulations to Ivan Rosenberg for IBMA Song of the Year -  "Don't Throw Mama's Flowers Away" co-written by Chris Stuart.

Also congratulations to Rob Ickes for Dobro Performer of the Year.

Its been a very good year for bluegrass and emergence of the dobro. Keep spreading the mus-ic.

Thats right. Rayco will be at IBMA all week. Ill be there hanging out most of my time. Im sure you'll see Todd Livingston and Matt Leadbetter there as well. And Mark will be there to tell you anything you need to know about the internals of them things. Come by and pick one. But bring your wallet cause i doubt you will want to leave without one!!
