There's a fellow over on the Reso Hangout that is selling a Redline Rambler for $100. These are hand built by Steve Smith and come with a Quarterman cone. The Quarterman cone itself is $60. This can't be a bad deal for a back up, outdoor guitar. Actually, someone questioned him about that price. He said it's really "best offer". Something about the software wouldn't let him post without listing a price.
I would think that even a best offer would include a reserve price so he at least tells people what he's willing to take for it. Wouldn't Ebay be a better place for "best offer"? Oh well.

The format of the Classifieds section on ResoHangout requires you to include a price. This seller opted to troll for a "Best Offer" (as it does state in the text of his ad) but he had to put something, so he put $100. I think I suggested over on RH that he might have put $1, like they do on Craigslist. At least everyone seems to know what that means over there.
I will say that the seller is a good guy, and I would not discourage anyone from dealing with him. The RedLine Rambler he is selling is actually our DeLuxe model, and worth well more than ten times that bogus $100 figure. He just isn't up to learning the instrument, not any teachers in his area, stuff like that. I don't know what the sellers bottom price is, but I will say that the guitar is almost new, as he just bought it earlier this year. It looked, played, and sounded great when it left the shop. Could be a good deal for someone...
